growing up is a treacherous affair. trust me. i’ve been there.
even without trying, most of my projects end up falling under the umbrella of young adult works. what can i say? there’s just something quite compelling about coming of age tales, especially when you operate under the philosophy that people cannot ever truly finish growing up.
i mainly write long-form prose - novels and screenplays and the like - but my blog will function as an experimental space for me to stretch my abilities into poetry and more short-form exercises.
i have two major works in progress. my novel, Marked, Book 1: Activated follows a close-knit group of high school friends who stumble upon a military conspiracy whose implications reach far beyond the milky way galaxy. my feature-length screenplay, All We Have is Now, is set in a dystopian world in which society has implemented an algorithm that predicts the precise date of someone’s death. only those who are destined to live long lives are given the resources they need for survival. the rest of the world has to fight for the remaining scraps.
the above examples are only the tip of the iceberg of all my creative shenaniganry. for more information about all of my works in progress, feel free to shoot me a message via email or twitter.
